How long until my tank will complete its cycle

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
K thanks so I'll maybe just get one because I don't think my floor can hold that amount of weight so I'll get maybe a 75 gallon

Are you on the second floor or the first? I've got my 72 with 100 lbs of sand and a 30 gal salt with lots of sand and rock both on the second floor of my very unsturdy house.

If you get a 75 or MAYBE a 55 you can house a snowflake and a dwarf lionfish for life maybe even a larger clown also. the volitian lionfish get ugly as they get older anyway. What type of water are you using/ RO or dechlorinated tap/

for lionfish, looky here http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/aquarium-fish-supplies.cfm?c=15+36

keep a lid on it with that snowflake, they are known escape artists and often end up as carpet jerky, especially when not given enough space.

I'd say a 55 would suffice for a short period, maybe one year.

Bigger tanks (obviously to a certain point) are easier to maintain.

My room is on the second floor if the floor gets damaged in anyway because of my tank my parents will have my head on a plaque on the wall

There are some ro systems on amazon for pretty cheap. I don't even have one yet, but I do recommend one. I plan on getting one asap.
