How Long will a 1 inch RBP survive when his tank mates keep outgrowing him.

That's what Cichlaguapote said, Master.K.

The only bad number is 2.

I was told since I got my baby fish a month ago, that I had to have 4. Now, it'd cost me $30 to get 3 more, and that's more than I can afford, along with the amount of food it's going to take them once they get bigger.

3 total would be much easier for me to purchase and afford to feed. Seeing as I can't have 2, and one is expensive to feed since he won't eat half of what goes in his tank, it'd be better to have more fish to eat the amount that goes in.

^^^ Right...

Sushi, 1 is fine they are more timid when they are solo but give him some time and he'll eat well even just by himself and you won't have to worry about them eating each other like what eventually happens with a group of p's... But 3+ is good as well.

what do you feed them steak and cavier?
just buy a lbs bag of shrimp(4$ pollock(4$) cod 3$, talapia (5$) i just spend 15$ and have food ofr acouple months and just alternate what they eat each feeding

and i dont really think 2 is that bad of a number, sure a larger shoal would be safer but if you have a weak one he will be bullied with 2 or 200
