Oh I agree that the snapper in the video is definitely over weight but a lot of times this species LOOKS over weight do to the fact that snappers have small plastrons which make they look like little sumo wrestlers. And that is a big snapping turtle all together. They don't normally grow much bigger then that.
 
Wow! That is some Snapper! I agree with V_F, he isn't as fat as he looks. The way he has his legs and neck drawn in makes him look a lot fatter than he actually is.

Ground-up fish and sweet potatos in strawberry Jell-o is a strange choice of food, but it is probabaly very nutrient-rich.:nilly:
