so my 1' midas is a moron. I just put a black background on the back of his tank and he's been attacking his reflection in the same spot for like 15minutes now.
 
hopefully his lips are still functioning by the time I get home from work. Atleast I know my baby trimac doesn't have to worry about getting picked on.
 
just realized the trimac was doing it too, idiots.
 
All the fish sees is its reflection in the glass thinking another fish is in his territory and hes trying to defend hes not stupid

well obviously, in my book I'd say yes this does mean he is stupid.
 
If he's as dumb as my betta he'll do it nonstop for 3 days and you'll have to take the backing off...
 
they finally stopped.. I'm glad because it was getting annoying.
 
it was just a new game, I compare my fish to my students... something new amazes them, then they get bored and complain... of course if I was a fish with a human mind I would go nuts...think how boring a tank is for fish
