it looks like he messed up his hump, now he has a wrinkle under it that he never had before. I'm gonna have to get him a retard helmet.

you can't see my Trimac but you can see my guppies standing up to the big buy. He doesn't ever mess with them but I did find one of them floating at the top this morning. He looked perfectly fine but he had no eyes. They were ripped out perfectly it was weird.

so my 1' midas is a moron. I just put a black background on the back of his tank and he's been attacking his reflection in the same spot for like 15minutes now.

Maybe he was just too happy to see himself, and couldn't resist kissing himself...

I had him in a 30g less than a week ago, he brightened up a lot when I put him in the 60g. I'm still looking for a affordable 100+gallon for him. I have a little Trimac in there with him and his eyes go from really dark red to white all day long. I don't understand it.

but.. You'd say he's a he right? I'm assuming he is because he's somewhere between 11-13" and the size of the KOK on him.

it's going to take a lot for my fish to get bored, they already stopped attacking themselves. Its in one of the busiest areas of my house, I have my bird cage next to it, and a 2 year old thats constantly staring them down and pointing at them yelling "fishy."

mine does the same thing, but only when you turn on the tank light. they do it for a few minutes until they realize its for no good

a nuchal hump question: has he always had a nice hump? cuz on my devil, it comes and goes. but he is solitare so it might be b/c of that.

nuchal humps go when they are on there own or have nothing to attack i guess... ive seen the reduce to silch after being on there own, even attacking a reflection keeps it up

I'm not sure, mine has always had a nice hump and all I have ever fed him was flakes and pellets. I've heard if you feed them more protein they will have better humps.

I saw a midas at my LFS earlier about the same size as mine and he/she was hideous and barely had a hump. I'm assuming it was a female. It made me proud when I saw her.. My fish is so much nicer
