How long without food?

Hi there. I have approx same breeds and sizes. Just left mine for 4 days. No food at all. there are all ok... 
If you can have someone feed them 1/2 through it would be a good idea to have the food pre-measured. It6 is safer to not feed than to overfeed.
Buy an auto feeder!I am afraid of an automatic feeder for a number of reasons. Battery problems...power problems...timer not right on it and so on. I am taking my dog to my dad's cousins that live about 10 miles away. I think I might have them come over half way through and feed them. I will pre measure the food into bags for them. Then about 2 days before I come home my aunt and uncle are coming to stay at our house while we are out of town, because they have something to go to here. They use to have fish and actually two of their sons have them now. I will have them feed them and everything should be fine. Oh and my other cousin learned to measure food out for the person feeding! He went on vacation and left 4 breeding angels for his neighbor to care for, and he came back and they all were dead....PEOPLE think fish need so much to eat....Ok Thanks for all the help.

Healthy fish can go for 3 weeks without food. That applies to non-herbivores only. All your fish are safe without food, probably safer than if you have someone come in to feed. I absolutely agree with the above suggestions of pre-measuring if you really need someone to come in. Some auto-feeders have cups which you can fill, just something to think about.
However, you will have to take the following into account:
1) Your angel fry might not make it
2) you did not specify the tetras you have. Neons are angel food in their natural habitat. If you starve your angels long enough, they may find smaller tetras tasty...

if you are keeping a fish he/she should be feld regularly. if you keep fish and care turly about them you shouldnt go on vacation. otherwise you are a crueld and stupid person for having them in the first place and no better than little children who keep oscars from Wal-Mart in 10g tanks.
if you keep fish, DO NOT go on vacation. fish are your vacation. if you don't except that, then you should probably kill your fish and then yourselves and families.
