How long can you starve a ray for? Ive been trying to get my MM on pellets now since shes already on everything else. Its been almost 4 weeks since i started starving her. Never had to do it for this long for any ray. Any ideas? Only good news is shes still got a big fat tail and still no pelvic bones showing.

why would i try again later if its been on everything including frozen market shrimp for like 3 months now. Why would i chop earthworms anyways, not like she cant eat whole worms.Deaths Sting;2688698; said:
i would say another week, if she doesnt then start back up on what you had feeding her before, im having trouble turning mine as well, try mixing it with what she was eating before so that you get some sort of the same smell on it. that has worked for me in the past
Okay, so ill give it one more week. Ive tried mixing pellets with earthworms juice and earthworms for a few days before the starving, but she just took all the earthworms and left all the pelelts alone. I think ive tried everything. I even stuffed pellets inside worms and she just grabs hold and swings the worm back and forth until they all come out.turkeyboy85;2688725; said:
