agreed, has def done some which i give him credit for, but needs a lil more

Now ive got another problem, I didnt notice until now, the MM has a really red underside. Is this from starving or something else?

My tanks are all barebottom. Less of a hassle to clean.

Almost 8" disc. ammonia 0 nitrate 0 nitrite 0 pH 7.2. No tankmates, shes in a 120 by herself for now.

Haven't took the time to go get one yet, I accidently dropped it a while ago. But shes got no death curl. Definitely no parasites as i dont feed feeders. Shes still active as ever, and seems perfectly fine from the top, but the whole underside is really red including the base of the pelvic fins.

Depends on the ray. Our rays feel like they are starving not long after they just get done eating what seems like a feast and a half. We feed them huge amounts before we go to bed at night, and they are going crazy for food as soon as we wake up in the morning. So, in that case like that, a starvation period could be from a couple of days to a week.

Like turkey boy said, make sure the ray is completely healthy first.

And I'm not really sure about the red-belly when you have a bare-bottom tank with those water parameters. I'll be keeping an eye out for what the more experienced suggest.
