I've only kept white cloud mountain minnows so far.

Butti peak at 16 inches tops? A 125 is 6 feet long and 18 inches wide, HTH is that to small for a 16 inch fish?

BTW, @OP truly sorry for derailing your thread. Your fish is beautiful, going to be uploading a video of my 240 gallon tank I have a 12 inch Quetzal hope you check it out and once again my apologies.

In my experience keeping a buttikoferi, they are a very active fast-swimming fish. I have heard they can get larger than 16" as well. I personally wouldn't keep one in an 18" wide tank, at least not as a long-term situation.
