How many angel fish in a tank??

If u have space add more angels at least 5 to spread out the agression and avoid the weakest one being picked on continuosly. The dominant angel will always chase the others but in larger groups the damage is minimal if any. Once the pecking order and teritories r established u shouldn't have any issues. Adding tall plants and decor like others said to break the line of sight helps too.

If you don't plan on breeding them I just have 1. He is about 7 years old and 8 inches and very thick. He lives fine in my geo tank with roseline sharks but will not tolerate any new coming angels. So I leave him in the geo tank for the last five years and he shows the geos who is boss but they are too fast for him. He has a lot of oscar like personality.

i would add 2 more and once the establish a pecking order than there shouldnt be anymore aggression.
