How many asian style tanks do you have?

Sorry about the crappy pics...the glare from the window was awful so i could only salvage a couple. I figured something was better than nothing. I'll try again soon. Also don't mind the fh. He caught some terrible disease and lost all his scales. Quite literally. I thought he was a goner.

Is that a Pimelodus mysteriosus? It look's strikingly similar to mine, which was sold to me as a 4-Line Pim. (p. blochii).

Well, now I feel much better about my 75 gallon. It's filtered by a Penguin 330, AC 110, and Fluval 305. It has a 5" albino oscar, 5" green sev, 4" fei feng, 3 3-4" silver dollars, 4 3-4" clown loaches, a 5" syno, and a 9-10" ornate. It's fine for now, but it will be cramped once everyone grows a little more.

There is even a fengshui chart on the Arowana but it's in chinese..... I think most can't read it here so I won't post it. And sad to say my Mandarin is not good enough that I can translate it properly

I have 1 Asian style tank with 20 tiger barbs 10 Black widow tetra, 10 rosy bards, in a 15 gallon tank

Two large tanks are Asian theme although one contains my severums so not purely an Asian style tank I guess. I don't think my snail tanks containing assassin snails and canas (invasive species) would count, would they? Assassin snails are from Indonesia/Thailand.

My own perception towards Asian style theme is based on stocking and display rather than actual number of fish.

I only know that Flower Horns are popular because many claim that numbers (4 digits) appear on their fish and they strike the lottery by buying the numbers.

We do have a lottery here called 4D. There are draws every Wed, Sat & Sun

Actually, I think the Chinese consider 4 a very unlucky number because the number in Chinese sounded similar to the word for death.
