The Pbass made the tank spike ( not that much but enough ) the amonia went from 0 to .25
the nitrite was still 0 and the nitrate was about 20-30. I saw this and did a quick w/c not to much but enough. I will wait another hour and see what the water perm is at. If its still above 20 im gona do another w/c

HAha chompers I asked him and this is what he said.
We have so much chlorine and **** in our water, we would end up paying a **** load for the filter. If you want to do it be my guest, but i'm not paying nor helping.
...

At least he gave you permission. Ya should have gotten it in writing.

I just spent part of the night up in the attic plumbing in my 250. I have been doing some work that your dad might like. It hides the water supply and drain in the wall and will be disguised when you no longer have the tank there (or sell the house). It is kinda hard to explain without pictures. I have been taking pics all along but can't post them right now. I have to get a power supply for my desktop first. My laptop does not have a port for my camera. :irked:

My tap water has chlorine over 3.0 sometimes (the max of my test kit). My drip system does not have a filter on it. Even when the chlorine is at the max, my tanks never had detectable amounts of chlorine. A charcoal filter at HD or Lowes can be had for around fifteen dollars just to be safe.

By the way, Altamonte's water supply isn't all that bad. I'll test it this afternoon to see what is up. The only local water supply that is bad is from Lake Mary. They put copper in their tap water.
