was thinking of getting another bichir for one of my 55s one has a senegal and was wondering if i could put in another mabye delhezi or some other kind? i really like polys and whant to have a tank with a few in it

Lets see... I bought 3 Senegals and raised them in a 55 with African cichlids. During that time I also added 2 Delhezi. Once my 120 was up and running I moved all 5 as well as some other larger fish from the 55. At the moment I am currently growing out a 3-4 inch Palma to add to my bichir collection. Hope this helps and let me warn you. Like everyone else keeps saying, once you get one you get hooked. Polys are addictive.
2 ornatapinnis, 2 retropinis, 1 delhizi, 1 lapradei, 2 endlicheri, 2 albino senegalus and 1 regular senegalus in a 125 gallon with plenty of other fish. Of course they'll hopefully be in a 180 soon.
o.k i was thinking that a senegal a delhezi and mabye a palmas would look good or do you guys recomend any others polys besides palmas that would look good?
I have an Endi, and Albino Palmas and a Delhezi. The Delhezi is still in my growout tank because my Endi will eat anything he can fit in his mouth, which can stretch out considerably. My albino is my favorite though. If you get a Pamas try to go albino, the normal ones are a little too plain, and an albino will always add flare to the tank.
ive got 2 Ornates (a 7" and my newer 9") + a 7" Senegal in the same tank, and they love each other..theyre real playful

What other tankmates besides the senegal are in the 55? You could probably add 2-3 smaller species of bichirs if there are no other tankmates. Ornates get too big for a 55. Stick with senegals, palmas, delhezis, or, mokelebembes.
