How many blacks in a large tank is a safe number?

My buddy is a master carpenter and is making me a tank along side with his. It is a unique, cheaper design for a tank that will look wonderful after alteration are done. Basically a custom furniture style tank just awesome stuff. If anyone is interested in what we are doing, heres a link. For those who want a big tank and dont wanna use big bucks. We are changing the design just slightly on the top of the tank for better integrity and for a better lighting system. It's from GARF.ORG

Thanks for sharing, my b/f builds houses and it simply amazes me at what beautiful work he does, and what he can build so fast. It's a good idea, just a little different materials, might be worth it. We we planning on building a showcase aquarium into our house, but there's no timeframe for that yet, so a temporary might be nice.

Thanks, anyhow.....its amazing what you can do considering your working with wood. I'm positive that a very unique show tank can be done phenomenally.

On another notion, I'll make sure to keep an eye on my fish. Make sure the community tank stay's just that, a community tank.

My Aro has all these little cute tankmates he could eat anytime but chooses not too. So I got all attatched to this Blue Gourami, it was so cool, never had one, and the darn Aro ate it! oooh, he could've picked any other, but my fav! Oh well, they're all in trouble now!
