With cardinals you can go as high as 3-4 per gallon for max levels and good filtration, picture a nicely planted tank that size with 2 dozen dwarf black diamond cories and 100 cardinals. Or go half and half on the tetras, cardinals/glo-lights.

I would agree, I had a mix school of35-40 cardinals and neons in a 75g tank. Although it made for a nice size school, I think that I could've easily doubled or tripled that number.
Its not really a "tall" tank... its just like any standard 30L tank.... but with a few more inches on top... thus making it "tall" i supose.... but not like some of the other "tall" styles, such as a 20H....
I'm also planning on getting a few soon, maybe 8 (15g tank with small CT betta).
Is 8 plus a betta in a 15g too much?
Will they eat my cherry shrimps?
Anyone here is successful with them and has "secrets" about their keeping he/she is kindly willing to share? (I know I'll get really attached to them, so I'll cry if they die on me! And you don't want that now do YOU? )
I'll drip acclimate them then! For the filter I guess I can always put a "net" of some sort over the intake! Thank you very much for your time and tips, I'll greatly take them in consideration!
