Mine wasn't beat up like necros' but same age and growth rate. I can't wait for warm weather so he can grow even bigger. He's about 22-24 inches but it's hard to measure with all that ice in the way.

I think he ate the 4" black moore that was in there. No proof though. It may have been the owl that shows up sometimes. He usually doesn't even bother with the edible fish as long as I keep his tummy full of pellets.

and the count now is 8
