How many days a week should large fishes be fed ?

Yea i've dropped to once a day with an occasional missed day but in exchange my chocolate managed to splash a solid cup of water on me. Was rather surprise he pulled it off - btw how do i stop them from breeding (I have 4 in a 600) and one pair (I can't sex the otehr two) has decided to breed non-stop... though i don't feed the frys.
 
My big fishes are such beggars though in truth the angelfishes have been well behaved - they ignore the food i put in the tank and spend all days looking for little bugs ;)

They are such angels....
