How many days per week do you guys feed

It's not like they find a full meal lying around twice daily in nature.

When rays are cut open for research they are known to always have alot of different foods in their stomachs. They basically swim around 24/7 searching for food in the wild. I would guess they prob eat around 15 to 20 small meals per day in the wild

This is what I have always read about too. Basically always hunting, eating what they can when they find it.

It's not like they find a huge meal every other day in nature, either.

I feed once or twice per day but i noticed bichir and ropes doesnt need so much anymore (5x per week suits them right)..dat and bgk are hungry all the time.. Juvenile fire eel i feed twice per day..

But i believe its better for fish that it is constantly a bit hungry then overfed..

To tell the truth my rays have got lazy and feed less the older they got

Anything below 15" disk will eat a lot and often

The 2 new males I got are about 10" and eat like mad
The bigger girls don't jump on food as fast

If you can feed them many small meals per day I don't see why not. The problem is that with very small meals it is difficult to make sure that every fish feeds.

I feed every day one day pellets another day krill some get tilapia for my big fish every one gets veggie wafers from HBC I found that I had some problems with the Tilapia fillets with my smaller fish they would get bloat from not passing the food, so now its no Tilapia for them. I also use cold water krill because its more digestible and nutritious than the krill from warm waters
