how many discus in a 55

you can put 5 in that size tank. its small for them but with Discus you need at least 5 for them to get along. you will have to to water changes all the time at least once a week with a 25% water change.
 
thats no prob for me. i do 15g daily on a 55g 5g daily on my 29g and 15g every other day on my 45g. my water is also naturally acidic so i think i might give it a shot. thanks for the info C.T.!
 
no problem. Discus are a shy fish though. Great looking but be careful with tankmates. stick to tetras that are really small or just discus. nothing will look as good as them in the tank anyway.

yeah kinda sounds silly to put other fish in there with them. if im gonna do a DISCUS tank, its gonna be a DISCUS tank. hahaha!
