How many discus or altums in a 90g tank?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'd want to do wilds or F1 of a wild type I'm pretty sure. Never been into designer fish. I have an RO/DI but I haven't gotten a TDS meter yet.

i've kept discus before. they are easy for me. i treated my discus like any other fish. feed good food and water change once a week since they are adults. so if you get discus make sure you get adults since you seem busy and cant do waterchange often so young discus is not good for u.

i currently keep true wild altums. i treat them like any other fish too. feed good food and water change once a week. in pure tap water. they can be hard to keep and tricky. my first batch of altums looked great for a week and the next they died off one by one.

you can try altums, see if you have luck with them. if not switch to discus. altum season just started so you should see them for sale now. after keeping altums, i dont thnk i can go back to regular angels.
