How many dog people?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I love dogs. I've always had one(or more) and always will. During my high school years I volunteered at my towns shelter training the dogs the basics. My current pup is a rescue I got from a humane society in when I lived in VT. I've had him for 6 1/2 years now and he is without a doubt the best dog I've ever owned.

Colby dog!

He loves to lay down in the water haha

Most importantly he loves my children. They climb all over him, pull his ears and tail and generally just love on him and he doesn't even bat an eye at their antics. Best dog EVER!

wow really nice dog....so many here........loving this thread

He sleeps on his back a lot. It's pretty funny. He's pretty smart. He knows how to open sliding glass doors, fence gates, his kennel door. Once he saw my wife turn off a light switch so he jumped and flicked it back on then just sat there... I guess he was afraid of the dark.. Lol

My three kids(two Pugs and an English Bulldog) teamed up together to get a container of juju coins off of a medium bookcase, opened the lid so they could eat everything and then hid the evidence in the kids room. They almost got away with it except for the teeth marks on the lid from when they pried it off.

I'm a hardcore dog guy. I had a red sable German shepherd from east German lines. Had dogs like Lord, Aly, Fero,Troll and Fedor in his pedigree. His mom was a Jabina dog. I did Schutzhund with him but when I joined the army in 2006 lost the time to do it well so he never went past SchH1. He was my buddy boy and best friend, he passed last November. I plan to get another soon and take him all the way to SchH3 now that I have a little more rank to me and therefore more free time (lol), but it'll have to wait a bit as my son will be born in February and I don't want to raise a baby AND a puppy at the same time!

Ain't that the truth, I swear mine makes as much noise as possible whenever he normally moves around so that when he is being sneaky we don't pay attention to him at all. And nothing that short and stubby should ever be able to move that fast,
