How many dwarf frogs can i stick in my 5 gallon

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
frogs are fun . They look like a blooper real on constantly. They like blood worms flake brine shrimp etc . Easy to care for and neat to watch. Id say get a pair for that tank.
I am looking at putting my 3 in with a betta in my 15 gallon with a eclipse 1 hood .

Just make sure you get a ADF(African Dwarf Frog) not a ACF(African Clawed Frog).

This is my 6 inch ACF.

2 would probably be the maximum that would be happy, they will eat flake foods but they'll stay skiny and might die earlier, make sure they get some bloodworms if possible, the frogs won't escape I don't know about the shrimp though.

that frog is beastly
and the shrimp did die i tried to give him a spot in front of the fillter but i found him this morning:(. i might get 2 butterfly loach's i dont want any thing else to die

just an FYI, butterfly loaches need a strong current too... since they come from fast flowing rivers. iv wanted to get some (i actually had some but returned them when i decided i didnt want to build a river biotope) but im afraid it will have to be a project for another day.

depending on how freindly your betta is, you could put a few ember tetras in there. i keep those with one of my bettas and they get along fine. or maybe try breeding cherry shrimp. kuhli loaches would work, though unless you got a school o fthem you might not see them much (and even then i still havent seen my school lately.
