Hello everyone, I just picked up a couple of EBA's (3",4") in hopes that I have a pair. They are in a 40 breeder with a L239 pleco. The LFS has a bunch more and I was thinking about adding what I think may be another female. Thoughts? Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Manny

Thank you for the input, I don't mind keeping it as is with the 2 eba's and the pleco. Just curious if a trio is an option. Kayzee Kayzee

You're maxed out imo, and hopefully they get along cause they can be agressive. My old male eba killed a couple females from failed spawns. They were in a 40b. Probably should have gave them more space. 3 ft isn't a lot of space to escape a raging male

Got it, I'll stick with 2 and hope for the best. Should I move the pleco? I have a few different places it could go. Thanks again

Awesome, I'll keep an eye out and pull the pleco if need be. Thank you for the information aztsm aztsm

I'm beginning to see tail shaking and bodies vibrating, I believe I have a pair!! I'm going to take the pleco out sooner than later. Thanks everyone

My LFS had 12 EBA's in a 20 gal tank and had two spawning pairs, free swimming fry .. not ideal , however the footprint on a 40 breeder can support a trio of EBA's easily as I'm currently doing it myself. GL
