Its a crap filter. Get an AC110. They are by far the best hob filters out there. I have an AC50 on my 10 gallon exo tank and it keeps it crystal clear. more filtration=less maitenance

Hmm..personal opinion. I own both. Both are running great.

Get good filtration and pack a ton like 60...that would be awesome.

60 is not "a ton" for a 75. but again, you would need adequate filtration (and superior mechanical. which can not be provided by the penguin/emperor filter because of its lack of media volume). but again, without the filtration and wc regimen in place, packing them in a tank should be the last thing on someones mind.
