Right now, I have a fully grown Tiger Oscar, 2 small Pleco, and 3 SilverDollars in my 75 gallon tank. My Oscar does not normally show a lot of aggression, and they all seem to genuinely get along.
I want to add at least one young Jack Dempsey to the tank, but I’m not sure if that will make the tank too populated. Any suggestions???

Yes wouldn't add anything else.

You beyond max capacity now depending on what pleco you have. SDs really need a group of 6 and get the size of a small finger plate. Oscar is a 12"+ fish so your already at multiple big wc's a week status.

I’ve had my Oscar for 2 years and he’s about 9”. And my 2 plecos are vampire plecos. Thanks!!!!

I agree with the others. One oscar in a 75 is maxed out. You indicated that yours is currently only 9" at 2 years which tells me that you either own a shortbody variant of oscar(not likely) or his growth has been stunted by poor water conditions. A properly cared for oscar will reach 9 inches in 9 months.

If youre not already, i would begin testing and monitoring your water parameters closely. If you're consistently getting nitrate levels of 80 ppm or higher then your fish are most likely suffering. You want to be under 40 ppm at all times to maintain a healthy tank for an oscar.

In your current situation, i would focus less on adding stock but more on reducing. One full grown oscar and one pleco would be pushing it in your 75, but could be accomplished with ample filtration and frequent maintenance.

Any cichlid over 7.5 inches is already too big for a 75 gal.
So I agree with the others, your tank is already overstocked.
You need at minimum a 125-150 for what you have now.
your too much of an over croud guy his tank is fine he propably doesnt do a lot of water changes ppl put oscars in 40-55 gallons let his oscar and silver dollars be happy in their 75 he just needs to do more water changes

I don't believe an Oscar can be happy in a 75.
These fish are very intelligent and often mope around in small tanks.
I totally agree with Duane, no cichlid over 7inch should be maintained in a tank that small for life.
I would find new homes for all your fish and re stock with more appropriate sized species.
