How many fish did you lose this year?

well as the year winds down i ask myself how successful or unsucessful was i at being a monster fish keeper..Over the past 11 months I lost two beautiful 8 year old pacus and one beautiful phantom pleco and two dragon gobies and one rare BB knife fish.. and a few baby angels and one african cichlid.. i quess concidering the amount of fish i have it isn't a bad number but i hope things improve in 2008 because i hate losing any Hows the year been for you?

suprisingly i only lost several common cichlids and a common pleco. What happened to those beautiful pacu of yours?

I have lost about 1000000 con fry to bass dead in the tank I would guess 5-10 Rip's this year.

1 yellow tail acei
1 pink convict

only a handful of fish for me, like 10-15, mainly small cichlids that were way to small or not great at hiding... a pleco, not sure why...

I lost a Silver Butterfish and a Green Scat...the Green Scat was about 9" and the Butterfish about 6". I did some tank re-aranging and moving, they went into a rubbermaid for a few days. I covered their tub with a piece of styro but they still took a leap and found them dried up on my basement floor.

a wire shorted out under their tank and the tank exploded.. thank you.. they were beauties!!

those were definatly some of the nicer pacus ive ever seen. Sorry about your lost.

Oh we think we are doing everything right and then boom it happens ..sorry!Thats why i have alot of tanks with old fashion gravel.. just afraid to disturb anyone..
