How many fish did you lose this year?

only a handful of fish for me, like 10-15, mainly small cichlids that were way to small or not great at hiding... a pleco, not sure why...

sometimes the pleco at night is a prowler..

well i've lost only five fish this year:
a clown loach
a brown knife
a convict
a palmas bichir
and a rare aba aba knife.

i have lost some fish and it has been sad but that's why we get more.

I have lost about 1000000 con fry to bass dead in the tank I would guess 5-10 Rip's this year.

.. i quess i lost a few fry too.. but never got to meet them. but how many

oh the aba aba and brown knife is a tough one and bichir..i cried when i lost my first bichir 2 years ago..

2 Platies (Jack Dempey snatched 'em up before i could move them from the tank)
2 Giant Danios (Those so called "dither fish" that turned out to be a waste of money)
2 Zebra Danios (Delhezi Bichir ate them up)
2 Leopard Bush Fish (When my tank got some toxcine in it and everything died!)
2 Kribensis (Same as above)
1 African Butterfly (Repeat of above)
1 Synodontis Catfish (Another reason from the above)

i am surprised the bichir could catch those danios.. the synodontis got it from the jD too?

well at least you still have alot of them..but i hate to lose any.. from the smallest to the biggest it hurts.And replacing them is not the same as the original for me..

Actually for me, none (knock on wood).
I've gotten rid of a couple and added a few, but not actually lost any YTD.
Guess I'm lucky, though in this hobby, that can change overnight.
Sorry for the losses.
