How many fish do you own

i know they are just grow outs untill i get my 200 gallon that im saving for but my pair of gts will stay in the 40 breeder cause the female was raised in that tank and will only spawn for me in that tank.
3 Jaguars, 5 Frontosas, 2 Green Terrors, 2 Leperanius, 1 Sailfin Pleco, 1 Black Ghost Knife, 1 Oscar - 400 Gallon

they actually spawned 2 days ago for the first time. i've been doing alot of reading lately and i found out that the female will not spawn again after you move her from the tank she was raised in.
wow now pp post on the thread days later lol. Im guessing most pp saw a thread like this before and don't want to waste their time but come on just type a number atleast

I can confirm that the above isn't always correct.
One: because my female has spawned in two seperate tanks.
But two: if they were sold from a fish store they woyld only have spawned in the tank that they were raised in there? I bought mine at 2" so she was sexually mature (allbeit young) when at the lfs.
Dont believe everything you read.

thanks . for the most part they are great parents.for the last week i've had to change the water almost every day cause my ac 70 filter media was bad and needed to be changed when i did get new ones and throw em in i noticed the female hanging in the corner hovering over their eggs fanning them and the male was going back and forth keeping the red texans at the opposite side of the tank . i would have to wait till i get my 200 too see if she will spawn in a different tank hopefully your right and she will spawn again . i might sell or return my red texans to make space for them cause they get too aggressive in my 29 .thanks again for the help and i will post some when i get my camera back from my sis in law
