I have a six day work week and every few weeks I get three days off.I work sixteen hours on two of the six workdays.

8-10 hours, M-F. no weekends since i was in public accounting. in those days it was a constant 12-16 hours a day

You one of those ebay sellers? Writing about how to Ebay? lol :D

  1. Yes, and 12 other international selling websites and counting! :D :headbang2 Ebay is highly overrated, and at the bottom of my list.
  2. Not!
  3. Skills are involved. You might not qualify. :D
  4. It, and the other things I am involved in, allow me to stay home with my family while ANYWHERE in the world instead of punching a time clock and commuting to work. Just saying.....

M-F, 8:30-4:30.

You cannot really embrace this hobby without a career of some sort to fuel the madness.

Lifeguard? lol

Yeah it's Monday-Thursday. If the stores do well they post mandatory OT though, more work obviously since their selling more. This is my 7th week and I have had only two 40 hour weeks. I've had 50 and a couple of 60 hr weeks thrown in there too, just gotta do it though....it's a job.

Never thought about just not doing anything on the days I worked, lol. I always try and do alot of stuff and nothing gets done, lol. Might have to start doing that.

haha yeah.

Yeah I never got anything done on my work days cuse I get home and I was tired... so I just relax and not do anything. Then when I had my days off I did whatever it is I needed to do... and got it all done. I think its better to just chill and relax on work days... and get personaly stuff done on non work days.

When I used to work 12 or 14 hour days when I was on a flying squadron I used to make sure I had a good breakfast, something you love for lunch as it makes you look forward to lunch time making time fly. Lots of fruit for snacks, cherry tomatoes and carrot sticks are good too. Small breaks where you just eat an apple/orange will break your day up.
The last half of the day is usually the worst, try and save work that involves activity till the last half of your day. Nothing worse that watching the clock while trying to do 6 hours of paperwork.

Best thing I ever managed to do was get into a stable routine. In from work and relax however you enjoy to but lights out at a set time every night. Up everyday at the same time. This routine will enable you to cope with your days, much like an athelete training. Eventually it will just feel like a normal shift.

10 hours a day, I am a restaurant GM I get two days off a week. ( if i am lucky and the other managers know what they are doing when I am not there)

I am a salaried employee with a 40 hour work week.
But you know how that goes.... Rarely does a weekend pass that I don't get at least one page/call.
And of course there is coaching youth football and Jiu Jitsu to suck up the rest of my time.
So the fish are a nice break on the weekend nights!!!!
