How many in a 100Gals?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
With the 20" width and 60" length I think it would be great for 5 rbps. Several clumps of bushy plants would help defray aggression.

u guys might all call me stupid and retarded but i say put 10 in :) the more the aggresive. :):) thats my thinking. japanese style RBP tank :):):):)

i had 15 in a 125 for 5 years. they all got along great. i had 4 breeding pairs. had to sell off moved to an apartment and couldnt keep them all. my friend has 20 in a 300 gallon. its a dangerous pack. 10 would be the most.

3 9 inch rbp in mine... there happy

Some of you are saying only 3 or 4 in a 5 by 20"?

I reckon you'd be ok with 9 or 10 natts if your filtration is good enough, ie not the standard juwel filter.

in a 100 gallon tank assuming its 5 or 6 feet in length you can keep 6 fully grown(12 inches) but its not likely to happen so i would say 8-10 until you have problems and then sell some off as you have any troubles.
