my lfs wants $49 for one of these at about 7 inches. I really want it, just gotta get things situated here............have never seen one around here before either.

Agreed...I would jump all over that. I paid $45 (plus shipping) for my little 4" guy because I can't find them anywhere in Massachusetts.

I just bought 2 at 6" each for $40 each. I have a relationship with my lfs (I spend money, they make it), so they give me deals. They were selling for $49.99 each.

I wasn't too thrilled when I went in to feed and not a sign of him anywhere. Suspects are the aro-12", BGK-12", a pair of senegals-8", or the angel and mango pleco tag teamed him.
