just wondering how many litters u let ur females have in a row.

do u do the 3 litters then seperate?

my female just had her 3rd litter. 4 pups the first, 5 the 2nd, and just had 9 today.

she looks very deflated, so im debating letting her go another round...

i seperated after 2 but that is because im moving in like 2 weeks, normally i would let her go for 3. congrats btw, post some pix when u get a chance

my leos had like 7 litters and i know its hard on the ray i try and give her breaks in between i plan on giving her a big break soon its just human greed keeps getting in the way:(

mine too is on her third litter. i think for keeping the ray as a pet seperating them is best, doing it to make a living or to make some money keep them going!! Mine looks pretty bad.. she is pretty torn up from the harrasing from the male and the smaller hybrid female in the tank with them.

So Mike do you ever seperate them or just let them decide when they are done... ever loose any during birth or during pregnancy?

i cant imagine my male motoro giving her a break if i put them back together. she looks very worn out and she is not very active, i think the male will just rape her if i take the divider down.

i think i might leave the divider up for another week, then take the divider down.

although if he has his way w her, then he will prob leave her be....
