What! You had bambusa's? What happened to them? I'm raising one up for a pond. Got any tips?

Bambusa's are non-aggressive. You need to grow them out to at least a foot before putting them in the pond. I had four 4" er but they could not compete against the mahseers. I'm pretty sure if I grow them out first they would have made it in the pond. Good luck.

What are you doing keeping goldfish! Give it to Barrimundi!
Already did... A buddy gave it as a big feeder... I was going ot keep it, since I like fish... :grinno:

I think the mahseers ate them Ken. I picked up some Phoenix barb and some Taiwanese masheers from Wes in late last year to mix with the group, and eventually, they disappeared in my tank, too...

Beautiful collection of mahseers. When I first got into the hobby I was quick to dismiss them as another barb. Fast forward to today and they're a group of fish I'm especially captivated by!
