How many of you got bad luck after your aros dead ?

Normally I try not to be so superstitious but I recently bought 100 gallon tank from an old man. His son told me they used to have a really big arowana but it died years ago. They started to have bad luck for 3 years since its dead lol. I also have my own experience with this fish. Back then when I first got into this hobby, I got myself a very nice aro and it died the next day because I didn't have a heater (i know I was such a hurry). Anyway, 3 days after I got a speeding ticket and few other bad things have happened that time. So....I'm wondering if any of you also have a bad luck after your fish dead ?
 
well first of all, are you asian?Just curious because a lot of asian americans believe that when their arowana dies they will get bad luck. So they make sure they are ready to keep it or else bad fortune and other stuff
