how many of you guys are on MFK while at work?

never done at work, because there is no computer to play in a restaurant! But I did that in class, and almost make me fail that class because I forgot to do my works!
I think that the Mods do a resonably good job of keeping the site civil and clean. I know that I have been yoked up on more than one occasion when my post(s) had to be edited to maintain the standards of this site. Given the fact that the site does not promote profanity or nudity, you would have a case against your company for termination upon access to this site. The company supplied you the internet connection on your work computer. They will play heck in court explaining why they have your work machine set up for internet access in it is "prohibited" in your workplace. There are all types of filters etc. . that administrators place on company networks restricting access to "prhibited sites".
Obviously companies understand this and would certainly use some other LEGAL grounds for termination.
Point being, if you are a "questionable/ borderline" employee, count on getting poop canned for MFK. If you ARE WORTH a grain of salt in your occupation, NO PROBLEM.
For cripes sakes, my company has pool tables, Air hockey tables, Ping Pong tables set up for us to "cut stress" during the day. This is modern day America! We are strongly ENCOURAGED to take leisure activities throughout the workday to maintain the highest level of service.
Sleeping on the job use to be the #1 no-no in business. Now an afternoon nap is double thumbs-uped.
Again, the focus is on how well you do your job! I am in no way attempting to "hide" my MFK surfing. You will NEVER see me post here on MFK when I have anything remotely like an action item to take at work.
Tech jobs RARELY require more than 20 hours work in your 40 hour week. What we do to "unlax" during the "down times" is basically up to us.
I strongly prefer MFK to game competitions due to my extreme aggression (Wrestling) and fierce competitive nature. I am fully aware that I could not 100% assure myself of personal actions and language that is within company policy. That is all I need is to miss a forhand volley and let a nice loud "F" slip, or call some male co-worker "a female dog".
Not Good. Worst case scenario, and I act up (like I sometimes do) on MFK, the worst that will happen to be is the ban hammer from MFK. Would truely suck, but I come back into work the next day just the same!
