Most of my family vacations are based around a trip to an aquarium.
Probably the most spectacular display was the tidal reef tank at the atlanta aquarium.Thier whale shark tank was mind boggling.

Lucky!! jeez stinks that i live in florida lol I so want to go see the whale shark exibit (and scuba dive in it lol:drool:)
Do you have any pics??

Adventure Aquarium is fairly decent because of the area its in (Camden). Its good besides for all the fish shooting heroine. I like the Baltimore Aquarium much more. I love all the eels and octopus'.

I've visited the aquarium in Vancouver BC, Canada. They even have beluga whales. It's pretty sweet. In all honesty, even with my incredible love/obsession of fish, I'd have to say my favorite exhibit was the sea otters. Those guys don't stop. They're very fun to watch!

I LoVe the Monterrey bay aquarium. Goin back for a 3rd time in august. I love the sunfish they have. I love it all.

I went to the Va beach aquarium last fall and really liked it. I had no idea there were so many cool fish out in the Chesapeak bay.

Aquariums are great huge or small I love them all.

Found the exhibit on youtube, my favorite is from 1:00-1:23. :D

It's sad how I've been to an aquarium but barely remember anything. I remember there was a scuba diver in a tank that waved at me. lol

So far, I've been to:

NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores
NC Aquarium at Roanoke Island
New England Aquarium
Baltimore Aquarium
Ripley Aquarium of Myrtle Beach
Living Seas Aquarium at Epcot, Disney World
Georgia Aquarium

There are a lot of really amazing aquariums out there. I am probly biased, however, the GA Aquarium is by far the most amazing experience any fish fan would adore. The native Tybee coast exhibit is great; gotta love the regional aspect of any zoo/aquarium. It's also hard to beat a few 600 goliath groupers. Not to mention 40 ft whale sharks! And there is like 4 of em! Which is most definitely a mind boggling great time. Love the wave pool. It's a giant curved glass exhibit, that you stand underneath and the waves come crashing above your head towards the reef that you are looking at. Corals, many kinds of rare(in aquaria) fish and such. They also have Beluga whales, which is truly amazing. There is this whole cold water section that is simply stunning! There is something for everyone who loves the underwater world at the GA Aquarium. I almost forgot the SA exhibit! HA. Giant bass and cats are always a good time :)

I've visited the Oklahoma Aquarium in Tulsa and the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta. Both are great. My local zoo also has an Amazonian exhibit.
