The tank would be around 898 gallons give or take a few, depending on decor. With good commercial filtration, you could safely do a dozen fish. Hobby aquarium filtration ain't gonna cut it. I would recommend a complete commercial filtration package such as a model # CSK2 from Aquatic Eco Systems down in Florida. This consists of an AquaDyne bead filter with backwash, centrifugal pump, and Emperor Aquatics UV sterilizer, plumbed in 1 1/2" pvc with ball valves and unions, mounted on plastic skid. All self contained, and ready to hook to the tank. It'll do 60 gpm with 2.2 ft. of media, 120 watts of UV, for 120lbs. (conservatively) of fish. It weighs about 265 lbs., and the cost is around $4,200.

yea i concur unless they are all the larger growing of the cichla you could easily pull of 10 full growns in a tank like that.
