No need to take the piss out on me guys, I'm new to PBass and was just after some advice, I was thinking of putting them in the 3x2x2 as a grow out stage, Then transporting to a 6x2x2, They are at 12cm at the moment.

i think the number of fish you have in the grow out tank is directly affected by what you want the largest tank you get to be.
if the largest tank you're going to get is 6ft x 2ft x 2ft then you probably don't want a mono at all, you probably want orinocensis and a maximum of 2 adults..
if you're planning on a 400 or 600 gallon or larger tank in 2 - 4 years then a small handfull of mono's say 4 or 6.. is good.
lol relax... no body here means harm... you asked a simple question with no info and we gave a simple answer.. you keep them in the smaller tank for a few months till they get to big and then you up grade. what other fish do you have? in both tanks that is
