At the moment in the 3x2x2 I have 1 x pim 1 x small green aro 1 x fine line gibby
In the 6x2x2 I have 1 x Large Pacu 1 x large Datnoid 1 x large clown knife 4 x clown loach 1 x Bichir 1 x flagtail.
In a year or so I would like to get a 8x3x3

If you are going to get an 8x3x3 you are fine. I would go for an 8x3x2 though because you don't need 3ft height and it will save you a fortune. You could probably keep maybe 4 monos or orinos in a 8x3 footprint. Your other tanks are fine for growing them on.
