How many people have seen asian aros in the US?

There every where, you just gotta know the right people. And have atleast 300-3000 bucks.

Its a tight circle too, they wont just talk to anyone or try to sell it to some regular joe they dont even know.

The first arowanas I ever saw were asians! My elementary school friend's dad had 4 each in their own tank all around the house and mentioned that these were valuable and illegal to have, that day caused my Monster fish obsession! Now I will run across one every so often usally on display in a LFS or restaurant but they will never sell it to me!!

I just checked texas dept of wildlife and i found out that the asian arowanas are not prohibited here anymore (seen them prohibited before). Unless there is a federal ban that I am unaware of then I am going to start searching for some.

Texas took them off their books because it a federal law.
I've seen people get slammed hard for keeping them in TX.

Know a place where i can keep in touch with the federal ban on exotic wildlife? I checked the US wildlife and I am having a hard time looking for the list of the Ban. I would like to go up to date on the things that are currently banned.

Man i wish they should just have those specialized licenses kind of like in teh falconry deal but for the Asian Aro.
