I cannot believe how many people were burned in a relationship! We clearly have 2 groups here:

1) Those who have just been burnt. (Or in their last relationship)

2) Those who are in love right now. (Dating or married)

I think you can date someone for years and love them but not be in love.
I also feel that you can be in love with someone who isn't treating you the way you should be treated.

:feedback:
There are also those who are slow to love, have been in love and found it good, but are not in love now. I think that the definition of love differs for each of us but the major component of love is trust.

As for love being occasionaly painful and you feeling more, true, but life without feeling is a waste of time. All lives contain pain and all actions entail risk.

Take your chances, living without love becomes very lonely after awhile.

If you can ever go an entire evening, when you are both tired and sore, and spend it just reading or being a spud in front of the tube with out really talking, but still feel warm and content just because you know your partner is there and feels the same way,,,,that is love.
Yep, I agree with Big L.

Really CAM!! 2005?? Look it comes down to variety... that's all I have to say......

Lately I don't believe in it. Still in a relationship going on for 5 years. Feels like things are starting to dwindle. I feel more excitement comming home from work to see my fish then anything else.

I believe that by a complex cascade of chemical reactions, we experience what we have termed love. However, I do not believe this detracts from its beauty, but rather enhances it, as it is amazing to me how our cells and the neurotransmitters held within them and transferred from one to another can generate such a powerful and truly spectacular emotion. It is synergy in its purest and most absolute; the end result is greater than the sum of the parts by several orders of magnitude.

God damn it Cam... I actually thought my answer out and tried to make it eloquent and it's a six year old thread.

Love surpasses time..

What's with all the bumping of old threads? O.O

I noticed it's been pretty much 2 or 3 threads that have been getting a lot of action in the lounge, so i figured I'd bump some of the more interesting threads with potential from the past to fill it out. I went through all the 2005 and 2006, plus some 2007 to find 3 I thought were good.

either that or I'm bored
