i have a 55 gallon tank wit three rbp and i want to get 6 more to have a shoal do u think that would be a good idea

i kno some of them will get killed but i want them too be in a shoal for rite now

not if you plan on keeping them all in the 55, you'll need a larger tank if you want anymore natts

ion mind them killing each other when they start getting bigger or i might just sell them when they get bigger and keep two but i want too have nine of them in the tank why there still small

I have 16 rdp's in a 55 right now. Just make sure they are the same size and all get fed. With that many fish, about 70-90% will eat per day. It's just hard to make sure they all eat. Also have enough filtration for 100 gallons or so.

well i can't recommend stocking your tank with nine if your plan is to just let them kill each other as they get bigger, but if you know for sure that you can sell them to thin out your shoal as they get bigger, then that would be a possibility.

i would think you may be able to do 4 in a 55 maybe though i honestly would do a 75 gallon for 5

I suggest you start doing some more research---

For one-Keeping only 2 is not a good idea-----At full grown potential-3 in a 55 gal will be a bad idea....And certainly not good for the health...

It can be done-But should be left to the more experienced keepers...

Best thing you caould do if you want a large "group" is to upgrade tanks.....
