they're just babies in that vid... how big are they now and what are you gonna do with all of them?

Well that vid was taken like 4 months ago. I'll figure out what to do with them when the time comes. I mean I had 20 p's 6 months ago, now I have 16.

so how big are they now and how long have you had them? did you get them at quarter size?

Yeah I got them at quarter size. They range right now between 2.5 to 4 inches. (almost all are around 3)

It's a lot of work since you need water changes every week at minimum and you have to make sure most fishes are fed since its impossible to feed every fish everday.

I love the way all the major contributors in this forum recommend against something and all the new people just dont listen.. AK and Joe are two of the smartest P keepers i ever conversed with ( right AK  ) just cuz they can fit over 75 in a 125 doesnt meen that every guy can.. i will recommend the same as them.. but at this point it really doesnt matter..

I have 16 rdp's in a 55 right now. Just make sure they are the same size and all get fed. With that many fish, about 70-90% will eat per day. It's just hard to make sure they all eat. Also have enough filtration for 100 gallons or so.
thats ridiculos
i woyld say 4 in a 55 for awhile
but full sized not even one
because a piranhas length at full size is longer tha a 55g's width
i will barley be able to turn around
i would say one in a 75

you would have to do water changes like everyweek
i had 13 piranhas in a 20g for a few weeks
i was holding them for a friend
i had to clean the tank fully every other day
i would have spent like 50 bucks in filter pads a week
but i used spounges and cleaned them everyday
you guys have to listen to us
even if you dont want to hear what we have to say
whats the use of posting these questions if you dont want to listen
piranhas are one of the most abused fish out theyre
besides goldfish and betta fish imo
just because they can thrive in small spaces and theyre hardy dosent mean you should
people try keeping huge scoals of piranhas for theyre entertainment just to watch them feed
i think its rediculous

I joined this forum *after* I got the fish. I still would had gotten at around 10 to fill up my fish tank if I had taken recommendations.

Also not every p keeper will do it everything right the first time. We need to get burned through experience before taking advice on an internet forum seriously.
