Milky Way Galaxy,
I am really thinking about setting up a all out rapheal catfish tank a heavyly planted one. maybe a 10g??? these ones at my LFS are soooooo active! well for a rapheal cat hahah. Id really like to keep a big school of these guys in a 10g?:nilly: and reccommended food also?

They are slow grower but 10gallon is way too small in my opinion. How big are the Raphs you're gonna buy? They will get a very fat 8"+ when full grown

Might Just use my 55g I want ALOT then if I do end up using my 55 like maybe 10-20? These guys are so cool! They are so so so active at the lfs ! So curious and playful. They would be half a inch when I pick um up. Gna clean out the 55 fersure when school ends!

Raph cats insanely active?.. 10-20 that should grow to 8" in a 55?.. Multiples in a 10g?.. And you don't even know what they eat??? Is this a joke o_O

Impulse buys = SAY NO

Did I ever say for life? U read what mike said? There slow growers. Did I say I dont know what they eat? I know what am going to feed them blood worms, shrimp and sinking pellets. Just asked for an opinion for a good diet. Damn people can't ask anything it seems anymore how about quit being a smartass and bring useful information to the table, or just take your negativity somewhere else. Get the full story before u start bashin

mine was very active at first but now it doesnt do anything but sit in my rocks with himself propped up upside down lol. i like him though! but do yourself a favor and dont put it in a 10 gal. mine would take up a whole 20 to himself probabbly

10 gallon is going to be to small, same as the 55 if u really get 10-20 of them. They are slow growers so you might be able to get away with that many in the 55 for a little bit but a tank upgrade will be needed with that many of them. As for diet, Mine eats anything i throw in the tank. It its veggy, shrimp, bloodworms, krill, waffers, Not very picky eater.
