HOW MANY RAYS HAVE YOU MURDERED?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Sad to say two.

I lost my retic due to an ammonia increase in my tap. I lost my first motoro to an unknown cause. She was eating perfectly and in perfect water and all of sudden just died. Over all she looked good even in death except for just one small green path on her under side.

Zero so far, got two true CB babies from a breeder in michigan and they are doing awesome for us. They are two little female retics and so far so good, next time he better spit out a boy :P.

I just lost my 2 male motoros this past weekend. The one died on Saturday and the other one died Sunday. The day before my first ray died he was eating fine and climbing the glass like always. I woke up Saturday morning and he was in the corner (with the little ray by his side) with a slight curl. I did a water change immediately hoping that nothing was going to happen to the little ray. I tested the water and all, and everything came out good. The little ray was also eating well and he was also very active. Later that night I went to bed and woke up the next morning to find him dead. He also had a slight curl. At this point I was thinking :WTF: !! I cried my eyes out almost all day!! I still can't figure out what caused it. Maybe an ammonia spike? What do you guys think?

Not to sure, I just lost a male motoro and I can figure out why he died either.

Would that be your recently purchased male motoro? I hope not thats a nice looking fish, but the previous owner did just loose his female, i wonder if something wonky was going on there.

No, my old male died. The new one that I got from Dave is doing fine. It even spawned with my female already. He lost his female aobut the same time I lost my male.
