For these guys i feel physical dimensions are more important than volume having a tank 2" deeper although increasing the Gallons will not mean anything to these guys, It's all about lengh and width

These guys are well known for be being skitish and you will often see them with damaged noses because of them hitting the glass. One technique I found to help was to define (make visible) the boundries of the tank either thin plants or a backing on the outside of the glass.
They are a great fish with a fine set of teeth. I did get mine eating strips of whitebait and Mussell. I unfortunatly lost mine to a group of Exo's that striped them of all there scales over night. Enjoy them!
