How many sens in a 125?

more might be possible. FishGoneWild has over 20 polys in his 125 i think.
15 sounds like a good starting number though

Keep in mind he is upgrading to a 150g with more floor space than his 125.

He's going to be upgrading in the next month or two.

ill get 15 sens, then MAYBE add 1 Delhezi, 1 Polli, 1x Ornate..

Ornates get big, you will need to upgrade from a 125 because typicaly they aren't wide enough for ornates. You would want a minimum of 24" wide.



For just senegalus/polli/delhezi I would go with 10 to 15, but make sure you have a good shape driftwood that some bichirs can rest on top and beneath, as well as tall plants that curve at the surface of your water so some polys can rest there too if they want.

Why just senes. Keep other species too. They would love that tank and it's nice to see multiple species together. But if you really just wanna keep senes, then keep as many as you can as long your filter can hold the bio-load.

i have 4xsens 2xornates 1xretro in my 125 and still looking for more but seeing how big my little ornate is getting and how quickly ill probably end up putting both of them in my 200

You should be safe with the recommended amount. I would suggest some mid level swimmers. Even though Sens swim around a lot more than most other Polys, they rest on the bottom.

Plant some thick bunches of Rotala rotundifolia, my sens love lodging themselves in it.
