I have 6 Heckelli about 6" long in a 120 (4'x2'x2') along with 4 small gynmo's and 5 angle fish. No issues. If they decide to breed I will be screwed but no issues. A pair of the small gynmo's did breed a few weeks ago and everything was fine.
I would do 6 or so red heads and you should be fine.
I have an adult pair plus 6 others 4"-5" rotkiels in my 150 they just get used to each other they all get along and chasing is minimal and not overally aggresive. I have silver dollars in with them and a large male texas and no problems.

Did you ever get a problem of fin nipping with your silver and sev's?? becuase I had silvers and I got rid of them because I use to wake up and find my Uaru and Sev's with nipped fins and tail... It use to drive me to Drink!!
occasional nip fin don't get tattered or anything. siver dollars are pretty much ingnored totally. Most of the fighting is between texas and convict and the africans I am babysitting for summer. The most aggressive severum I have is my adult female. Every fish for the most part kmows their place
