How many times do you feed your fish

125 Get 3 xs morning staple pellet, afternoon color flake or spirulina and night time frozen frenzy. 55g gets 3xs but morning and afternoon is staple grow out pellet and grow out pellet and nightime frozen as well.

Again, depends on the fish.

My SW mixed reef tank gets two feedings of NLS Thera A a day, and inbetween get two feedings of Frozen a day...that is they are supposed to. Its usually only one. I also feed some mixed algaes on a clip that have been dried with selcon and vitachem on them.

Twice a day for all my tanks. And about every third day I feed frozen foods in my main tank and the rest of the time I feed Hikari pellets. Except by Ghost Knife gets frozen every day.

My 55 gets twice a day, and my 20 long planted gets once a day light feeding, sometimes I skip a day, just to let their digestive systems clear out.

I feed my fish once or twice a day and I don't feed them at all one day a week (usually the day before I plan a water change). I wish I could feed them 3 times a day, but the nitrates would get out of control. I read on another forum that some people starve their fish a day before a WC because fish like to poop during or right after you change their water. I think it's true. Seems like my WC's are more efficient now because they don't poop right after the WC.

i try to feed my tank (36 sarpaes, 6 RH geos, 4 brochis, 4 CL, 1 festivum) 2 meals a day.

M-F:

9:30am I feed 1/2 tbsp NLS .5mm pellets & 1/2 tbps cichlid flakes. Half my sarpaes eat pellets, half eat flakes. I could never get the other half to eat pellets. All the other fishes will eat both.

3:30pm I have a rotation, I feed 1 tbps NLS cichlid pellets 1 day, next will be 1tbps omega one kelp pellets, next day will be omega one shrimp pellets, then back to NLS.

sat: same as above with exception I feed NLS every saturday. I include a treat in the middle of the feedings with 1 of the 4: frozen brine shrimp/mysis/bloodworms/homemade frozen veggie food.

sun is fasting day and 40% water change day

I feed too much as is evident by the planeria that pop up in my tank lol. I can't help it what else can you do with your fish, take them for a walk? And yes my nitrates are pretty high. I fear my fish will become diabetic if I keep it up.

Not sure if that was meant to be funny or just honest, but I laughed.

For me though, I feed my fish once a day. Fry 2-3 times a day.
