How many times per year do you clean filter

Hob's and canisters about once a month or so. I have sand in all my tanks and some fish like my oscar thinks its funny to scoop up mouth fulls and swim over to the intake of the fx5 and spit in there.

Sump i clean every month (only the sponge,floss and foam blocks never the bio-media)
FX5 filter pads every week

I clean my FX5 out every week, only takes 10 min to pop the top squeeze out the sponges in old tank water and replace the poly fill. Keeps the water crispy and the Nitrates always read "what nitrates?"

I like that!!!!

there isnt ebough numbers. if you want my answer you would need to put like 24-30x a year
